VIII.MMXV   THE WIND

WHERE ARE YOU COMING FROM?

THE SEA OF THE EAST & THE GENTLE BREEZE ON MY CHEEKS

THE SEA OF THE WEST & THE FURIOUS GUSHES ON MY FEET

WHAT DID YOU SAY?

THE ECHO OF DISTANT TALES IN YOUR WHISPERS

AS YOU BEND PINES AMONG SURFING HAWKES

WHILE THE ASPEN SHIMMERS & THE EUCALYPTUS BLOWS

AND YOU WHIP THEIR SCENT THROUGH THE CLOUDS

FOR  ALL IS QUIET WHEN YOU ARE IN PEACE

AND ALL IS SCARED WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT EASE

WHERE DO YOU GO?

TO YOUR FAVOURITE VALLEY & CASTLE OR CLIFF ?

I SHALL COME WITH YOU IF YOU ONLY LIFT ME IN YOUR WINGS

BUT I STAY HERE

TOUCHED BY LIFE AS YOU GO BY
